that flog is also a word used to refer to fake blogs created by companies wanting to advertise stuff. Kind of like a splog (spam blog).
I am, however, going to keep my flog. Even though it's not a flog.

According to Dictionary.com:–verb (used with object), flogged, flog‧ging.
1.
to beat with a whip, stick, etc., esp. as punishment; whip; scourge.
Now, my definition:
Noun, combining the words "fishing" and "blog."
Verb, to write in my fishing blog.
Fishing itself as an act also relates to the common definition of the word "flog," as in "the walleye really flogged me today." This is an all-too-common experience for me.

Shoot. I didn't even think that word had been "taken" yet. Oh well... it's a mighty good-looking flog, though!
